REBRAND ALERT
Due to some potential brand confusion, we have rebranded from Sonoran Glass Studio to Akari Glass Studio. Akari means light and glow in Japanese, and we feel this properly matches the overall feeling of our glass art and experiences! Thank you for being patient with us as we navigate this rebrand. We are still the same wonderful glass art and mobile paint experience, just a new name :)
Bring home something beautiful
Original textured glass artwork and paint-your-own experiences made in Phoenix, Arizona.
Welcome to Akari Glass Studio
Where glass and beauty combine. Akari Glass Studio is a small glass art studio based in Phoenix, Arizona. We offer custom made textured glass artwork and mobile paint-your-own glass experiences. Our glass art is 100% handmade, from the hand drawn design to the custom mold and firing in the kiln, and the hand painted scene. Our glass is designed to capture beauty through texture, color, and light. Through our special forming process in the kiln, our hand-cut glass is fired individually from piece to piece, and painted brushstroke by brushstroke. No two artworks are alike.
In addition to our beautiful artwork, we bring mobile glass painting parties to homes, churches, schools, and businesses throughout the Phoenix metro area, including Glendale, Surprise, Gilbert, Chandler, Scottsdale, and surrounding communities.
Whether you’re purchasing a custom-made glass piece or living the creative process through our parties, we hope you will be able to take a truly unique work of art home.
